What can I say about the Tribe from William & Mary: they deserved to win! Off season, UVa football described a new and improved offense but what we saw Saturday night was anything but. It looked more like UVa’s typical short play struggle up the field offense with a quarterback shuffle added in to further confuse things. William & Mary had a decent passing game with former Albemarle High School quarterback RJ Archer but it was there persistence and attitude (and maybe the cavs 7 turnovers) that helped win the game. Should Groh be fired? I don’t know. I just want to see more action in the games….like this photo featuring Virginia cornerback Chris Cook defending William & Mary wide receiver Ryan Moody from Saturdays season opener.
