Alfred, thank you

A couple of months back I did a three-day shoot for the World Wildlife Fund at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk, Va. I stood alongside a film crew for two days inside a rhino sanctuary photographing four lion cubs Ajani, Razi, Dakari and Zarina who were born at the Virginia Zoo on May 2, 2009. This is the second litter for female Zola and male Mramba. We spent another day photographing meerkats, African crowned cranes and an elephant used in the movie “Sheena Queen of the Jungle.” It was a great experience though I felt bad for Alfred the Rhino who was displaced from his sanctuary because of us.
