As a photographer, fall is my favorite time of year. The explosion of fall color is like natures way of giving photographers one last gift before the colorless winter arrives. I wake up early everyday for peak week and find myself driving into Greene, Madison and Nelson Counties reviewing maps on the way in search of the perfect color shrouded stream or river. This photo was taken the last week of October somewhere in Greene County, Virginia. Photog specs: 35mm 1.4 lens, a polarizing filter, ISO 50, Canon Mark IIIDs, F22, 2.5 second exposure on a tripod.
