Massive hull

I’m sure this image has been taken a thousand times. Anyone visiting Norfolk can’t help but be enamored by the massive hull and miles of steel construction. Have you figured it out yet. It’s the USS Wisconsin (BB-64) docked in downtown Norfolk, VA. The shear size of it will make you stop in your tracks and marvel. I felt like the biggest tourist(which I was) but the ship sticks out of the water like it’s another building in downtown. The photo was taken at sunset during a 3 day freelance shoot for the World Wildlife Fund. What else does a photographer do after a long day of shooting except shoot more. I was tired but damm that ship was big.
